MR: Agents ? and Catflap

This mental rambling is especially confusing. I had created these characters for Protectors Of The Plot Continuum, except that I have never actually read anything from it, I have no idea what's it's really about, I would be unlikely to actually read it and probably wouldn't like it. But once I got started creating them, I got really attached to the two characters. Something about a harmless, Lovecraftian horror and cranky, cat-like catguy who fight crime seems absurd and amusing. Hopefully, I'll be able to find a use for them some day...

Agent ?
Agent ? is an unusual entity from somewhere else. Though looking like a metallic frames surrounding an oddly coloured flame, Agent ? is apparently alive-ish and intelligent. Despite this, communication with Agent ? is difficult to say the least. It is believed that a red fire means agreement and blue fire means disagreement, but this only makes up a small fraction of the colours the flame has. Agent ? hates Mary Sues, fears the word hubcap and likes to listen to the static on the radio.

Agent ? has a few unusual skills which it uses in its job. Agent ? can go anywhere it wants, passing through the toughest barrier and the trickiest paths. Agent ? can also use a limited telekinesis, making up for its lack of limbs. Every new moon, Agent ? also develops a new power, which lasts until the next new moon. Most of these powers are mostly useless, like the ability to boil eggs from a distance.

Agent Noël Catflap
Agent Catflap is a Catguy (as opposed to a catgirl) who works for the Protectors Of The Plot Continuum. As befitting his nature, Agent Catflap is lazy, self-centred and difficult to motivate. He is only kept on because he has incriminating photos of various important people. Most other agents don't like dealing with him, so he is generally sent in with Agent ?.

Despite his appearance, Agent Catflap is agile and capable of superhuman skills. He can also see better in the dark and has excellent hearing.
